New Residential Construction

Thank you, David Kerley, for building our dream house in Fairfield Glade. Your attention to detail and sincere willingness to guide us through the building process are second to none. Best of all, you are truly a great person with outstanding integrity. Instead of the typical builder who constantly takes shortcuts to cut costs, you do the opposite, putting pride and quality into everything you do.

We had a wonderful experience working with David Kerley Construction, LLC on the custom high-end home they built for us in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. From the very beginning, David and his son, Josh, took the time to listen to our ideas, understand what mattered most to us, and guide us through the design, planning, and building process. They were patient, helpful, and always willing to talk through options or make thoughtful modifications along the way. David’s experience, creativity, and practical insight helped bring our vision to life in a way that felt truly personal to us. Throughout the entire project, David and Josh were professional, dependable, and easy to work with. We appreciated their attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and genuine care for the finished product. The workmanship exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly pleased with the home they created for us. We would highly recommend David Kerley Construction, LLC to anyone looking for a builder who combines skill, integrity, and a personal commitment to doing the job right. David & Lisa

We have been in our new David Kerley home for a little over a year. We had some rather specific size requirements for bedrooms and crawlspace. David and Josh worked with us to modify the house design. They went above and beyond to make this happen. We are very happy with our new home, not only because everything fit, per our plan, but for the quality and very respectful subcontractors they used.

David Kerley built our custom house in 2010. We were living out of state, but because David is so honest and trustworthy, we had no worries. Sixteen years on and his quality workmanship stands the test of time. We are proud to live in a David Kerley home!

Excellent service and we highly recommend David Kerley Construction! We purchased a newly constructed home built by David Kerley and we have been very satisfied with the quality and workmanship. We have had very few “punch list” items, but those we did have were addressed quickly and exceeded our expectations. David Kerley and his son, Josh, are easy to reach, professional and very responsive.

We worked with David Kerley Construction on the design and construction of a custom home for our son’s family. David and his son Josh took the time needed to help us through the planning and building process, carefully incorporating features to meet the needs of our special-needs grandson. Throughout the project David and his son Josh were extremely helpful, communicative, and attentive to our requirements. The quality of the construction was excellent, and they did a great job identifying design features and the construction materials that would make the home more functional for our grandson and family. We had David Kerley Construction build our home last year and could not be happier with the result. David listened to our requests and was able to give us everything we wanted in our custom home. He accommodated us when we had changes to our plans and offered great suggestions when we were unsure of how to proceed with any changes. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent. David was patient, listened to our concerns, and was able to build for us the custom home we wanted. His cost estimate was spot-on and he completed our home on time. David and Josh took very great care to address all our needs for our home completion and post purchase follow up. Urgent matters were addressed urgently and less urgent matters were addressed with appropriate timing - you will not get ghosted out. David and Josh live in this area and when you see them around they speak and are friendly. They value their relationships and that also means a great deal to me!

Dear Josh, Thank you for including me in your questionaire. I without a doubt praise your wonderful Father, David Kerley and his construction company. I am happy to report David Kerley Construction built me a stellar and magnificent custom built home. First, my home is extremely energy efficient. My costs are reflective of the great insulating factors that keep my home at a very comfortable temperature all year long with the costs surprisingly lower than others I have spoken to built by competitors. Mr. Kerley has always responded immediately when I had questions about my home. He has personally come out to evaluate issues I have had needing handyman attention. He always gave me names of indivuals that indeed rectified the tasks at hand, by very professional and talented handiwork. Mr. Kerley is a man of his word and if you are lucky enough to buy one of his homes, you will discover all the blessings of stellar Construction, and a gentleman who stands behind his work and a reputation for excellence that is hard to beat. Sincerely Claire Blough

I recently purchased a new construction home from David and Josh and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The build quality is excellent and the home is beautiful. I am extremely happy with my new home and would highly recommend them to anyone considering new construction!

David fully understood what we wanted in our house. He delivered as promised. We met several times during construction and he kept us updated on everything. We made a couple of very minor changes and he did not bat an eye and got it done. Well built. Insulation is amazing. House stays at constant temps even during extreme cold. We are very happy and satisfied and would not hesitate to buy another David Kerley home.
